A Micropreneur Blueprint: How to Stay Solo, Bleed Passion, and Build Products that Matter - Proposal #68

The internet has created an unprecedented opportunity for solo technologists known as "micropreneurs" to conceptualize, create, and launch products that make a difference. Products that provide amazing value to niche markets, and change their own little corner of the world.

Not until the past 15 years could a designer or programmer leave the safety of a salaried position behind in pursuit of a career as a solo entrepreneur. But at this moment in time, designers and developers are able to do something never before imagined: launch a software product completely on their own...no employess and no outside funding, from anywhere in the world.

This manifesto will examine this phenomenon of micropreneurs and look at how any web designer or developer can begin their quest to launching a product that matters while still flying solo.
