In a manifesto on the continued need for affirmative action and the hypocrisy of claims that it hurts white men, Paul Kivel explains how deep-seated prejudices among even the most well-intentioned lead to discrimination. "Affirmative action is not a cure-all", he admits, but it helps ensure that all have a fair chance and life's opportunities.

About Paul Kivel | Paul Kivel has long been an active participant in the movement to end violence.
